Successful Pre-Season Preparation
Rodez Aveyron Football (RAF) is ready to kick off its new Ligue 2 campaign against Stade Lavallois on Saturday, August 8. The team has shown good form during their pre-season matches, winning three out of four games. They secured victories over Bastia (5-3), Cannes (4-1), and Nîmes (2-1). Their last friendly match before the season was a narrow defeat to Montpellier HSC on August 1st.

Departures
Several players have left the club, including Matis Saka returning to Toulouse FC. Four players departed for free transfers: Wilitty Younoussa (Nantes), Aurélien Pelon (Grenoble), Mohamed Achi (Cherno More), and Morgan Corredor (Tarbes). Additionally, Rodez sold Tairyk Arconte to Millwall for £3 million, Alexis Trouillet to Standard de Liège for £0.35 million, and Nolan Galvin to West Brom for £1 million.

On the other hand, Cheick Doumbia returned on loan from Le Puy-en-Velay.
