Rodez FC won the Aveyron Cup for the first time in its history by beating Espalion 1-0. The win was made possible by a goal from Simon Petiaut in the 64th minute. The goal was scored after a corner and a hesitation by the Espalion defense. Rodez FC's goalkeeper, Mickaël Maffre, was heroic in deflecting a free kick from Lucas Ricard just inches from the post. The Rodez FC players defended well and countered when they had the chance. Captain Cabaniols and his teammates held off the Espalionnais. The win marks Rodez FC's first-ever title win.
