Three former Rodez players will participate in the 2026 World Cup. Lionel Mpasi, goalkeeper of the DRC, Mory Diaw, goalkeeper of Senegal, and Marvin Senaya, defender of Ghana, have been selected for this competition. They will be the first Rodez players to participate in a World Cup. Mpasi spent nine years at Raf, first as a reserve in CFA before becoming the player who has played the most Ligue 2 matches in the club's history. Diaw played the second half of the 2024-2025 season with Rodez. Senaya made his debut with the Black Stars in March. They will face top-level opponents, including Portugal, Uzbekistan and Colombia for Mpasi, France, Norway and Iraq for Diaw, and Portugal, Uzbekistan and Colombia for Senaya.
